Some of the Cardigan Bay beaches to explore around
Morfa Cove |
Morfa Cove Beach
You may well find you have this beach to yourselves
though seals and dolphins and the occasional walker
also enjoy this beautiful beach.
Llangrannog Beach
Along the coastal path which runs through Morfa Cove, you
will come to Llangrannog. Even in winter this is a dramatic beach with
the
'giants tooth' rock. There are excellent pub meals to be found here and
the
best meringues ever in the beach front cafe.
Summer months can be busy, but around from the 'giants tooth' are
lovely beaches and further still the National Trust headland of Ynys
Lochtyn.
National Trust Beach at Mwnt
The rocks on the end of this headland are a favourite area for the
local population of bottlenose dolphins. The terraces down to the beach
make a perfect picnic spot, and drinks can be bought at the little shop
on the way down
