The local village of Llangrannog has a selection of places to eat and there is a post office for bread etc. A larger shop and bakery are at Brynhoffant on the coast, and the nearby towns of Aberaeron and Cardigan have supermarkets.
Organic foods are available at the excellent farm shop at Sarnau.

The natural beauty of the Cardigan Bay Coast and West Wales
can be enjoyed both on water and land.
Many visitors to Morfa Cove spend their days on the nearby beach
or in the local village of Llangrannog,

Cardigan Bay

Cardigan Bay is a Special Area of Conservation.
The Ceredigion Coastal Path runs through the coastline of Morfa Cove. National Trust Beaches at Mwnt and Penbryn which are often deserted if you come on an Autumn or Winter break.


Llanerchaeron National Trust Wales

Llanerchaeron, owned by the National Trust, is a small 18th century Welsh gentry estate (now an organic working farm with extensive parkland walks) set in the beautiful Dyffryn Aeron near Aberaeron.
A cycle track leads from Aberaeron Town and the house and grounds are now open.


Cardigan town and Heritage Centre

Cardigan Town on the mouth of the River Teifi has everything from shops and restaurants to Theatr Mwldan Arts Centre where you can see films, theatre, art exhibitions, live music and dance.
If you enjoy walking, you can walk along the River Teifi and up to Cilgerran Castle. Go through Cilgerran to the Welsh Wildlife Centre and just before the entrance office, a footpath leads left along the otter trail and brings you to the river walk and the old bridge in Cardigan facing the Heritage Centre shown left.

For horse lovers there is stabling available and a cross country course across the owners farmland through marvelous coastal scenery. Llangrannog - a picture book seaside village with a spectacular walk beyond the hidden Cilborth Beach and around the headland of Ynys Lochtyn (National Trust) is only a short drive away.


Leaping Dolphins in Cardigan Bay

Cardigan Bay is home to the Bottlenose Dolphin.

There are many places along the coastal paths and beaches where you may be lucky enough to see them.

Coracle fishing on the River Teifi

The National Coracle Centre

A museum and workshop of coracles from around the world set in the grounds of a 17th Century flour mill beside the beautiful Cenarth falls famed for its salmon leaps and 200 year old bridge over the Teifi River.


Welsh Wildlife Centre

Nearly 270 acres of nature reserve, dominated by the marsh and reed beds on one side and on the other the beautiful Teifi river winding through a gorge carved by the melt waters of a great Ice Age glacier.
Look out too for the "Nuthatch", the reserve restaurant, over the second largest reed bed in Wales, domain of the graceful otter, the elusive Cetti's warbler and a haunt of a wide variety of water birds.
